I am an integrative therapist and a registered member with the BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy). Working as a therapist, I work with people from all walks of life and backgrounds who have a diverse range of experiences and mental health needs.
I recognise seeing a therapist is not a passive act; it isn’t like visiting the doctor to be measured, assessed, and treated. You don’t come away after one appointment with a pill to take and the responsibility ends there. Therapy can be a journey or a guide through a familiar but somehow unusual land; which can be rewarding, or at times confusing. You may already have in place other resource’s such a friend’s, family or a trusted significant other that have proven to be a source of comfort. However, this help can only go so far. Realising that resolving a problem requires something more means you have actually already taken the first step towards improving your life. It can be scary and confusing making the decision to contact a therapist. In my experience, people can struggle with a mental health issue, a personal crisis or challenges with a relationship for much longer when everything is kept inside. By working collaboratively, I can help you to gain a deeper understanding of yourself and your issues, leading to personal growth and self-acceptance. Through my work, I am humbled and do not take it for granted when a potential client chooses me to be a part of their therapeutic journey. I understand whilst taking that next step can be scary, however it can also be a brave and divisive one to self-healing. Fees: £65 - Concessions on offer for Students, NHS, and Carers and I do retain some low-cost spaces for lower income households. Availability: Tuesdays (early morning and evening), Wednesdays (late afternoon and early evening), Thursdays (early morning and evening). I am an existential analysis psychotherapist. I help people to connect to themselves, the world and with other people so that they can experience life to its fullest - but also at its simplest, which is the main purpose of my role.
Psychology & Psychotherapy is my second career and, as such, my prior work and life experience contribute to my practice. Firstly, it taught me to build relationships at all levels, and helped me to realise that I am strongly motivated to make a meaningful contribution to people’s lives. Secondly, this experience enables me stay aware of the academic and workplace stresses, challenges and limitations. My newfound knowledge in the field of psychology, along with my passion for helping others to deal with their stress and anxieties led me to practice as a counsellor at the Stress Project. Currently, I provide individual counselling and psychotherapy to help people get clarity on their goals, to overcome life crises and to find the way to their authentic self. Additionally, I practice at the Clever Psychology Anti-Crisis Support Project (for those affected by COVID-19). I can assist you if you are: • Struggling with anxiety and depression • Feeling worry and panic about what might happen • Needing to reduce stress and find positive energy • Experiencing personal or professional crises • Struggling with work/life or emotional balance • Finding yourself in a relationship pattern you want to change • Hoping to resolve childhood neglect or mistreatment, disrupting your current life • Struggling with guilt, shame, and feelings of worthlessness. Fees: £35 to £65 |

I am an integrative psychotherapist with a background of many years working with individuals for the NHS as a speech and language therapist. I have an MA in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy from Roehampton University and work with adults presenting with a wide range of difficulties concerning their mental wellbeing.
I draw from the psychodynamic and humanistic approaches to psychotherapy and consider the therapeutic relationship to be central to the process. I place the unique experience of the individual at the centre of the therapeutic process. Together we embark on a journey to explore and understand what may be causing the present difficulty and any associated patterns or behaviours that may contribute to the unhappiness and work out together what might facilitate change. “It’s never too late to become the person you might have been” George Elliot. Deciding to prioritise one’s own mental wellbeing is one of the most rewarding acts of self-kindness an individual can perform - and choosing to do so via the process of therapy and a supportive therapeutic relationship can be a significant step towards this goal.
I am a qualified Integrative Psychotherapist and typically work with adults who are experiencing low-mood, anxiety, depression low self-esteem, struggling with ongoing health or relationship issues, or trying to process a traumatic past. Sometimes clients simply feel stuck and need a safe space to explore and process what is happening. I provide a safe confidential non-judgemental space for you to express or reflect on whatever issues have brought you to me and together we can navigate a way forward. No two clients are alike, and therapy cannot offer all the answers but often clients find that engaging in a dynamic and supportive therapeutic relationship can have a profound effect on emotional wellbeing. My training draws on elements of relational psychodynamic, existential, and humanistic approaches. This allows me to tailor an approach suitable to your individual needs. Working psychodynamically involves looking at how relationships from the past, and present, may be informing your identity, relationships, and internal world. Existential explorations may illuminate how you make life choices and create meaning or make decisions in an uncertain world. I work relationally with my clients and believe the therapeutic relationship to be a powerful force for insight, awareness and ultimately change. Important connections and new perspectives can be achieved within the bounds of a dynamic therapeutic relationship and many clients find this hugely helpful. At present I work solely out of The Stress Project with adults of all ages on an open-ended basis or for an agreed time. I have an MA in Psychotherapy and Counselling from the Regent’s School of Psychotherapy and Psychology and am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and abide by their code of ethics. Fees: £60 Availability: Wednesday mornings in The Stress Project Contacts: 07941517967 / angelawinstone@icloud.com |

I am a qualified counsellor (CPTA Level 4 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling) with a philosophical outlook and an open, friendly approach. I am trained in an integrative approach, which primarily includes, but is not limited to, the person-centred and psychodynamic schools.
I believe that each person has better advice to give themselves than anyone could give to them, and as such I try to reflect back and gently question what a client has to say to find out this advice. I have worked with anxiety, depression, chronic pain, grief and sexuality, among the many topics that come up in the variety of human experience, and am LGBT+/queer-friendly. "The task [the therapy] is not solely that of the counsellor or psychotherapist. The work lies in the creative space between, in the relationship." - Petruska Clarkson Fees: £35 to £65 |

I am an experienced and qualified Integrative Counsellor and Psychotherapist with a Level 6 degree in Counselling. I am a Registered Member of the BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy) (MBACPReg.) and abide by their Code of Ethics.
I provide a space for clients to explore all parts of themselves. This space is free of judgment and fuelled by empathy, acceptance, curiosity and creativity. I believe in the power of an objective space in which you can heal and make sense of your inner world, and collaboratively find a way forward. As an Integrative Psychotherapist, I am trained in a range of therapeutic approaches and I use different interventions in different times based on my client’s needs. This means I can cater to my client as a unique individual rather than expect them to fit into a ready-made structure. I mainly work in the Relational, Psychodynamic, Humanistic and Somatic approaches. This means I believe in the power of the therapeutic relationship. I am open to exploring childhood and past wounds. I give control and power over to the client throughout our work, in order to strengthen their sense of self. And finally, I believe that the body communicates and holds emotion as much as the mind does. The nervous system, body language, breath, muscles and posture can be affected by our emotional worlds and I seek to listen to what they are saying in my work. I work with a range of presenting issues, such as: anxiety, depression, grief/bereavement, sexuality, relationship issues, stress, self-worth, trauma, addiction, anger, etcetera. I can offer open-ended therapy or a limited amount of sessions, whichever suits you best. If you are interested in working with me, I would love to hear from you. Fees: £60 for face-to-face sessions at the Stress Project centre. £50 for online. Concessionary prices may be available. Availability: Face to face session availability: Thursday evenings 5pm-8pm. Please inquire about current online session availability. Contacts: jesse.stressproject@gmail.com |

I am an experienced trainee psychotherapist registered with the United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) and abide by their code of ethics.
I practice Humanistic therapy strongly rooted in the Gestalt approach. I hold the belief that we all have an innate orientation towards health and growth, but we often become stuck in unhelpful patterns of feeling, thinking and behaving that impact on how we interact with the world. I hold a non-judgemental space in which we can investigate these patterns and experiment with new ways of being in the world. The therapeutic relationship is central to the way I work. We exist in relationship with others, with the environment we live in and with ourselves. It is in and through relationship that we may have become stuck and that we may also find freedom to be in the world in a way that is adaptable, responsive, and fulfilling. I work with a variety of issues including anxiety, depression, loss and grief, chronic pain and fatigue, and relationship difficulties. The counselling is online only. Fees: £35 to £65 |

Stuck In A Rut? Overwhelmed? Anxious?
If you feel stressed, anxious, depressed or have low self-esteem, I can help you. I work with those who are facing difficulties in relationships, complicated family dynamics and bereavement. My name is Ellie and I am I am a psychotherapist in advanced training, specialising in Transactional Analysis. Additionally, I am a Master Neuro-linguistic Programming (NLP) Coach. Both methods focus on our communication with ourselves and others and I use these theories as a foundation for my work with adults and young people offering long and short term counselling to individuals. Having worked with teenagers and young adults for many years I am familiar with the pressures placed on them in today’s society and I believe therapy can be a vital space for them to explore their individual stories, build their resilience and confidence. Gifting yourself an hour a week to focus on your mental wellbeing can support you to make positive change. Therapy can help us to become aware of recurring patterns and behaviours that are no longer supporting us. Becoming aware of these gives us the opportunity to choose alternative paths. I believe therapy can help us to understand ourselves, why we are the way we are and help us to become who we want to be. For me, the relationship between therapist and client is central to the success of therapy, which is why I offer a safe, confidential and non-judgemental space for our sessions. I work in person in Surrey and offer online counselling to all. Fees: £35 to £65 |
