I am a qualified humanistic integrative counsellor with over 15 years of counselling experience and adhere to BACP code of ethics.
I strongly believe that counselling helps when we feel that the demands of life seem to outweigh our ability to cope. Talking therapy will provide you with help to explore issues that may be affecting you. I provide you with a space to enable you to feel empowered and supported. We will work together to explore your feelings, whilst ensuring you are given every opportunity to just ‘be’. You can bring to the session any issues and/or feelings that you want to share. You will be listened to, and supported, throughout your counselling process and during your personal growth. I can help with issues such as anxiety/depression trauma, relationship issues, family difficulties, abuse, self esteem and confidence building. What invariably every person who attends counselling is looking for, is to feel better! The benefits of therapy are far reaching and include:
I've a Diploma in humanistic counselling (CPPD), an Advanced diploma in humanistic counselling (CPPD) and vast experience of supporting adults, young people and children with a range of different issues. |

I am a fully qualified UK trained counsellor, psychotherapist and clinical supervisor.
My core philosophy is Humanistic and initial training as a counsellor is the Person-centred approach however, I do work in a relational integrative approach. I work with adults, couples, families and individuals. Contacting a therapist might seem daunting at first, but I aim to help you make sense of difficult thoughts and feelings in a sensitive and non-judgemental way. Talking about your problems in confidence can feel relief and help you feel less alone and overwhelmed. As a psychotherapist, I am an empathic, integrative counsellor where I will enable you to empower yourself to change. The key for change is the therapeutic relationship between us which is that of trust, congruence, honesty, being genuine and acceptance. Therapy is a life-long journey of personal development, growth, to self actualise and to be fulfilled as an individual. Carl Rogers wrote that 'We are the Authors of our Lives.' I write articles on Mental Health Issues which have been published in the UK press and I also am on LIVE radio for a London based radio station appearing weekly discussing psychological issues. I am fluent in English and spoken Greek.

I am a fully qualified and NCS registered CBT/ REBT Therapist and a trainee EMDR Therapist. I offer face-to-face, phone and online counselling to identify and challenge any negative thinking patterns and behaviour - which maybe causing clients difficulties. Helping the client to change the way they feel about situations and enable them to adapt their behaviour in future.
This may range from Anxiety, Depression, Generalised Anxiety Disorder, Low Self-Esteem, Panic Disorder, Bereavement, Bullying, Parenting, Relationship Issues, Separation and Divorce, Stress, Trauma, Addiction, OCD, Phobias, PTSD, Panic Attacks and Trauma – helping people understand more about their conditions and help them to make better choices for themselves and deal with the problems. My primary concern in therapy is to create a therapeutic alliance that would help people to feel safe to express their concerns as openly as they can. I try to understand the problems people encounter in living and accordingly use CBT/ REBT model - which focuses on how thoughts, beliefs and attitudes affect feelings and behaviours and teaches coping skills for dealing with different problems. Or using Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) - which is an eight-phase therapeutic approach that facilitates the resolution of distressing experiences (often traumatic memories). With my track record of helping clients solve their problems and my academic training in CBT/REBT, I have developed a keen interest in how people negotiate complex feelings of belonging and help to reshape their sense of identity. I enjoy working with people from diverse cultural background. As a treatment, I maintain a high standards policy of strict confidentiality - adhering to the guidelines of National Counselling Society and I am a member of BABCP. If you would like to discuss the possibility of coming to see me, get in touch to arrange an initial session. |

Are you looking for something different? I am a fully qualified music therapist with over 20 years’ experience in the field of mental health. I have recently completed a post MA training in a type of music psychotherapy called Guided Imagery and Music, which I provide at the Stress Project.
GIM sessions involve relaxation, breathwork and listening to carefully chosen pieces of music to help you address presenting issues. By listening in a relaxed state, deeper layers of the psyche can be accessed, (much like Jung’s Active Imagination technique), and parts of the self can be encountered and worked with on a symbolic level. GIM can help you uncover and work with unconscious attitudes, find different perspectives on presenting issues, and discover hidden resources to support you in your life. Insights from the sessions can be further processed through mandala work, and I have also trained with the Creating Mandalas team and Suzanne Fincher, in the use of mandalas to aid reflection, integration, and personal insight. GIM is suitable for people suffering with anxiety, stress, depression, and trauma, and can be helpful in aiding relaxation and pain management. It can also be a transformative and transpersonal therapy for those seeking change on this level. Time and again, I have seen music’s creative power touch people and help them find new solutions to life’s issues. It is a privilege to accompany clients on their creative journey, and I strongly believe in the importance of offering a safe, secure space to explore whatever the client wishes to bring, through the creative use of music and mandalas. |

I am an existential analysis psychotherapist. I help people to connect to themselves, the world and with other people so that they can experience life to its fullest - but also at its simplest, which is the main purpose of my role.
Psychology & Psychotherapy is my second career and, as such, my prior work and life experience contribute to my practice. Firstly, it taught me to build relationships at all levels, and helped me to realise that I am strongly motivated to make a meaningful contribution to people’s lives. Secondly, this experience enables me stay aware of the academic and workplace stresses, challenges and limitations. My newfound knowledge in the field of psychology, along with my passion for helping others to deal with their stress and anxieties led me to practice as a counsellor at the Stress Project. Currently, I provide individual counselling and psychotherapy to help people get clarity on their goals, to overcome life crises and to find the way to their authentic self. Additionally, I practice at the Clever Psychology Anti-Crisis Support Project (for those affected by COVID-19). I can assist you if you are: • Struggling with anxiety and depression • Feeling worry and panic about what might happen • Needing to reduce stress and find positive energy • Experiencing personal or professional crises • Struggling with work/life or emotional balance • Finding yourself in a relationship pattern you want to change • Hoping to resolve childhood neglect or mistreatment, disrupting your current life • Struggling with guilt, shame, and feelings of worthlessness. |

Seeking therapy can sometimes feel a little daunting, but many clients come to therapy simply to experience a dedicated time and safe space to talk through whatever is on their mind. I work with people who typically are experiencing difficulties arising from depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, workplace stress, living with a long-term health condition or diagnosis, bereavement and loss, relationship difficulties, or trying to process a traumatic past or event.
There is no ‘one-size-fits-all’ approach to therapy. As an integrative practitioner trained across a range of therapeutic modalities (Psychodynamic, Existential, Humanistic, CBT) my approach is driven by individual client’s needs and presenting issues, offering more supportive, exploratory or practical approaches as required. I have also worked as an Organisational Psychologist in corporate environments for over 20 years and may draw upon that experience and insight, particularly when working with matters of workplace stress, career transitions or redundancy. I believe the therapeutic relationship itself is a powerful agent of change. In my practice I offer a safe, confidential and non-judgemental space in which you can take a pause to reflect and think things over, feel supported to explore your concerns or connect with difficult emotions, and feel empowered to take steps that will over time enhance the quality of your life. I work with adult individuals of all ages on an open-ended basis or for an agreed time period. As a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) I abide by their code of ethics. |
Genny
I am an integrative psychotherapist with a background of many years working with individuals for the NHS as a speech and language therapist. I have an MA in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy from Roehampton University and work with adults presenting with a wide range of difficulties concerning their mental wellbeing.
I draw from the psychodynamic and humanistic approaches to psychotherapy and consider the therapeutic relationship to be central to the process. I place the unique experience of the individual at the centre of the therapeutic process. Together we embark on a journey to explore and understand what may be causing the present difficulty and any associated patterns or behaviours that may contribute to the unhappiness and work out together what might facilitate change. “It’s never too late to become the person you might have been” George Elliot. |

Have you wondered what it might be like to have a trusted space and time where you might explore your feelings, who you are and what it means to be in the world as you find it?
My way of working offers a chance to understand what it is like to be you and to be with you, and to find meaning and freedom in your life. You may experience a different way of being listened to and being with another person in a safe space. There will not be “homework”, judgement or set goals, but a journey together to allow what might be. I work with people who are experiencing Anxiety, Depression or difficulties with mood, have feelings of being stuck in life, are questioning identity, struggling with relationships or going through times of adversity and loss. Informed by a rich life experience, I have interests in LGBTQ+ issues and experience, the impacts of workplace bullying and redundancy, maternal and gynaecological mental health, intergenerational trauma, and in the process of performers and creative artists. I have an MA in Psychotherapy and Counselling from the Regent’s School of Psychotherapy and Psychology at Regent’s University London and I am currently studying for a Postgraduate Certificate in Existential Psychotherapy. I am a Member of the BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy) and Trainee Member of the UKCP. |

Deciding to prioritise one’s own mental wellbeing is one of the most rewarding acts of self-kindness an individual can perform - and choosing to do so via the process of therapy and a supportive therapeutic relationship can be a significant step towards this goal.
I am a qualified Integrative Psychotherapist and typically work with adults who are experiencing low-mood, anxiety, depression low self-esteem, struggling with ongoing health or relationship issues, or trying to process a traumatic past. Sometimes clients simply feel stuck and need a safe space to explore and process what is happening. I provide a safe confidential non-judgemental space for you to express or reflect on whatever issues have brought you to me and together we can navigate a way forward. No two clients are alike, and therapy cannot offer all the answers but often clients find that engaging in a dynamic and supportive therapeutic relationship can have a profound effect on emotional wellbeing. My training draws on elements of relational psychodynamic, existential, and humanistic approaches. This allows me to tailor an approach suitable to your individual needs. Working psychodynamically involves looking at how relationships from the past, and present, may be informing your identity, relationships, and internal world. Existential explorations may illuminate how you make life choices and create meaning or make decisions in an uncertain world. I work relationally with my clients and believe the therapeutic relationship to be a powerful force for insight, awareness and ultimately change. Important connections and new perspectives can be achieved within the bounds of a dynamic therapeutic relationship and many clients find this hugely helpful. At present I work solely out of The Stress Project with adults of all ages on an open-ended basis or for an agreed time. I have an MA in Psychotherapy and Counselling from the Regent’s School of Psychotherapy and Psychology and am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and abide by their code of ethics. |

I am a qualified counsellor (CPTA Level 4 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling) with a philosophical outlook and an open, friendly approach. I am trained in an integrative approach, which primarily includes, but is not limited to, the person-centred and psychodynamic schools.
I believe that each person has better advice to give themselves than anyone could give to them, and as such I try to reflect back and gently question what a client has to say to find out this advice. I have worked with anxiety, depression, chronic pain, grief and sexuality, among the many topics that come up in the variety of human experience, and am LGBT+/queer-friendly.
