I was kindly asked if I would display my photographic exhibition: “O What A Joy” as part of the festival, at the Old Fire Station, which I had set up with the assistance of Wendy & Kaner, on Friday. As I took my seat inside the Old Fire Station’s main hall, the festival began with Dave/Elvis singing ... Or was it 'Elvis'. I still think, to this day, it was 'Elvis' impersonating Dave! So he is Elvis/Dave! I was joined by a few friends throughout the day who kept me company - even by a stalwart of the Stress Project, who was a volunteer for many years. A few people came to view the exhibition throughout the day, and all gave me good feedback. I even got 'tweeted'. I ventured out, for 5 minutes, to see the Stress Project stand. Kenny, the reflexologist, had managed to relax a client so much so, that she was asleep! For lunch I had some homemade rice, beans and chicken curry, could not fail to mention this, it was so good! Complements to the chef! Come and see my exhibition which is still showing at the Old Fire Station. Paul, Social Media Volunteer & Photography. |
